Half-Life
So I've been sort of bummed lately, for various reasons. And, you know, I thought getting a more interesting job, traveling to all sorts of exotic locations, or becoming a nun would bring me out of my funk. Apparently, I don't need any of that. Yet.
All I needed was a manicure and a pedicure.
Also, can I just geek out/be a fan girl for a moment? I am so ready for June to start so I can see this lovely specimen again.

Haha, aww, thanks :) That's awesome you're considering it, I say go for it... there are too few female PhDs out there! What would you go for? I went back a year and a half after my bachelors and it's been a tumuuuuultuous first year, so if you ever need to talk, I've run the gamut of grad school emotions :) I know what you mean about the "real life thing" my mom actually said... drumroll... direct quote... "No man will want you with too much education!" I was like "whaaa?" It was the biggest fight we'd ever had and to this day I don't understand why she was so against it at the time (she brags about it to strangers now though... awww... moms!). You also just so happened to have painted your nails my two favorite colors together... nice to meet you, miss lady!
